The Interview Rehearsal Book : 7 Steps...

Meeting a prospective Manager/Agent is a two-way meeting. This will be your opportunity to observe the Company as a whole; the atmosphere, the interaction between everyone in the office etc. Beware of 'power types'. A good Manager/Agent makes no big promises and wants to work with you. Most importantly, relax and be yourself.

Be prepared to ask questions most pertinent to your career

When you have met with an Manager/Agent and they feel that you are 'not right', then you are best off not being represented by them. Move on and find someone who thinks you are right for them and in turn right for yourself.

If your 'gut feeling' tells you something does not feel right then trust it. Don't pursue this course any longer - why go with the flow and then realise your 'gut feeling' was right too far down the line having signed a contract.
