DIRK BENEDICT

Recently he completed filming the features "GOLDEN TIMES" in Europe and "SOLITAIRE" . He also appeared in "BRING BACK THE A-TEAM" for Ch4 in the UK. He is remembered for his starring roles in "BATTLE STAR GALACTICA" and "THE A TEAM".

Dirk’s first love is the stage, having trained under the tutelage of John Fernald (Principal of the Royal of The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) from 1955-1966) with Meadowbrook Theatre, Detroit.

He is also a talented musical theatre performer; it was playing the role of ‘Gaylord Ravenal’ in "SHOWBOAT" that Dirk first discovered his passion for acting. He then went on to appear on Broadway in "ABELARD & HELOISE" (with Diana Rigg & Keith Michell). Other credits include "BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE" (with Gloria Swanson) and ‘Curley’ in "OKLAHOMA".
