DIRK BENEDICT
Took part in Celebrity Big Brother (2007) on Ch4
Recently completed filming the features "GOLDEN TIMES"
in Europe and "SOLITAIRE" during 2006. He also appeared in "BRING
BACK THE A-TEAM" for Ch4 in the UK. He is remembered for his starring
roles in "BATTLE STAR GALACTICA" and "THE A TEAM".
Dirk’s first love is the stage, having trained under the tutelage of John Fernald (Principal of the Royal of The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) from 1955-1966) with Meadowbrook Theatre, Detroit.

He is also a talented musical theatre performer; it was playing the role of ‘Gaylord Ravenal’ in "SHOWBOAT" that Dirk first discovered his passion for acting. He then went on to appear on Broadway in "ABELARD & HELOISE" (with Diana Rigg & Keith Michell). Other credits include "BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE" (with Gloria Swanson) and ‘Curley’ in "OKLAHOMA".
